ezMD
Privacy Policy

ezMD does not collect, transmit or sell any personal information. There is no account to create, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. I never receive your files, or any record of how you use the app.
What stays on your Mac
- Your documents. ezMD reads and writes Markdown files in folders you pick yourself. macOS only grants the app access to what you choose, and that permission is remembered on your Mac alone.
- Your settings. The folder you last opened, which tabs were open, your interface language, and a snapshot of each document as you last saw it — used to show what changed — are stored in the app's own container on your Mac.
- Your GitHub token. If you connect GitHub, the personal access token you paste is stored in your Mac's Keychain. It is sent nowhere except to GitHub itself.
The one network connection
If — and only if — you connect a GitHub account, ezMD talks to GitHub's API at
api.github.com to list your repositories, read Markdown files, and save your edits
back. Nothing else leaves your Mac. If you never connect GitHub, the app makes no network
connection at all.
That traffic is covered by GitHub's own privacy policy.
Purchases
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. I never see your payment details. The app only asks the system whether a valid purchase exists.
Deleting your data
Disconnect GitHub in the app — that removes the token from your Keychain. Then move ezMD to
the Trash and delete ~/Library/Containers/com.peteryuchang.ezmd.
Children
ezMD is not directed at children, and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears at this address with a new date at the top.

唯一的一條連線
只有在你連結 GitHub 之後，ezMD 才會連到 api.github.com，用途是列出你的 repo、
讀取 .md、把你的修改存回去。除此之外沒有任何東西離開你的 Mac。你不連 GitHub 的話，
這個 app 完全不連網。
那段連線適用 GitHub 自己的隱私政策。
購買
付款完全由 Apple 處理，我看不到你的付款資料。這個 app 只會問系統「有沒有一筆有效的購買」。
怎麼刪掉資料
在 app 裡按「中斷連結」，權杖就會從鑰匙圈移除。然後把 ezMD 丟到垃圾桶，
並刪掉 ~/Library/Containers/com.peteryuchang.ezmd。
兒童
ezMD 不以兒童為對象，而且不向任何人收集資料。
異動
這份政策如果有變動，新版本會出現在這個網址，開頭會換上新的日期。
