ezMD is a Mac app made by Yu Chang, an indie developer in Taiwan. By downloading or using it, you agree to these terms.

License

You get ezMD from the Mac App Store, so Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own. You cannot resell the app or take it apart to build a competitor.

Pricing and features

• The app is free to download. Reading local folders, rendering, tabs, and the table of contents are free forever.
• ezMD Pro unlocks three features: accessing GitHub repos, exporting to PDF and HTML, and seeing what changed.
• You can buy Pro two ways. Both unlock the exact same features. Choose a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription. The subscription starts with a free week.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in your App Store account settings.
• If your subscription ends, the three Pro features lock again. All free features keep working. The app keeps your GitHub connection, so resubscribing restores your access immediately.

Payments and refunds

Apple handles all payments. I never see your card details. You can request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple rejects your request and you feel it is unfair, email me and I will look into it.

Your files

You own your files. ezMD reads and writes them locally on your Mac. The app does not upload your files anywhere. ezMD is not a backup service, so keep your own backups. I cannot recover lost data for you.

GitHub

Connecting to GitHub is optional. If you connect, GitHub's own terms also apply. Saving a file creates a commit in your repo, so make sure you have permission to write to it.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. I try my best to keep it stable, but I cannot guarantee it will always work perfectly or fit your specific needs. As far as the law allows, I am not responsible for lost data, lost work, or other damages from using the app.

Updates

I may update these terms as the app evolves. The latest version is always on this page, marked with the date at the top. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan.

ezMD 是 Mac 上的 app，由台灣獨立開發者張佑一人製作。你下載或開始用，就代表同意底下的約定。

授權

ezMD 是在 Mac App Store 上架，所以適用 Apple 的 標準使用者授權合約。你會拿到一份專屬自己的授權，可以在你的裝置上用。你不能轉賣這個 app，也不能拆開來做一個打對台的產品。

付費機制

• 下載不用錢。看本機資料夾、排版、分頁還有目錄，這些全部永久免費。
• 買 ezMD Pro 可以解鎖三樣功能：打開 GitHub repo、匯出 PDF 和 HTML，以及看改了哪裡。
• Pro 有兩種買法，解鎖的東西都一樣。你可以花錢直接買斷，或是選每年續訂（第一週免費試用）。
• 訂閱時間到了會自動續約。如果你不想續訂，要提早在到期前 24 小時去 App Store 帳號設定裡面取消。
• 萬一訂閱過期，那三項 Pro 功能會停用，但免費功能都可以照常使用。你的 GitHub 設定會保留在 Mac 裡，以後重新訂閱馬上就能接著用。

扣款與退費

收錢的人是 Apple，我看不到你的信用卡資料。要退費的話，請到 reportaproblem.apple.com 找 Apple 處理。如果被 Apple 拒絕，你又覺得很不合理，可以寫信來找我，我會幫你看。

你的檔案

你的檔案完全屬於你自己。ezMD 只會在你的 Mac 上讀取和存檔，不會把檔案傳到任何地方。你要自己做好備份，這個 app 沒有備份功能，檔案不見我也沒辦法幫你救。

GitHub

要不要連 GitHub 全看你自己。如果你連了，就要順便遵守 GitHub 的規定。你在這裡存檔會直接在 repo 產生 commit，所以用之前要確定自己真的有寫入權限。

責任範圍

這個 app 是按現況提供。我會盡全力維持穩定，但我沒辦法保證它永遠不出錯，也無法保證它能滿足所有需求。在法律允許範圍內，如果因為使用這個 app 造成檔案遺失或任何損失，我不負賠償責任。

條款修改

只要 app 有變動，這些條款也可能跟著改。最新版本永遠在這個網頁上，最上面有日期。條款更新後你繼續用，就代表你接受新規則。

適用法律

這些條款受中華民國（台灣）法律管轄。

• 如果订阅过期，这三个 Pro 功能就会停用，但免费功能还能照常使用。你的 GitHub 凭证会留在本地，下次重新订阅马上就能接着用。

扣款与退款

钱是 Apple 收的，我接触不到你的银行卡信息。退款请去 reportaproblem.apple.com 找 Apple 处理。如果 Apple 不给退，而你觉得不合理，可以发邮件给我，我会看看怎么解决。

你的文件

你的文件完全属于你。ezMD 只在你的 Mac 本地读取和保存文件，不会把它们上传到任何地方。请务必自己做好备份，这款 app 不是备份工具，万一数据丢了我没办法帮你找回。

GitHub

你可以自己决定要不要连 GitHub。如果连了，就要同时遵守 GitHub 的相关条款。每次保存文件都会给 repo 写入一次 commit，操作前请确保你有修改这个 repo 的权限。

免责声明
