ezMD
Terms of Service

ezMD is a Mac app made and published by Yu Chang, an individual developer in Taiwan. Downloading or using it means you accept what follows.
Licence
ezMD is distributed through the Mac App Store, so Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement applies. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not resell it, or take it apart to make a competing product.
What you pay for
- The app is free to download. Reading local folders, rendering, tabs and the table of contents are free, and will stay free.
- ezMD Pro unlocks three things: opening GitHub repositories, exporting to PDF and HTML, and See What Changed.
- Pro is sold two ways, and both unlock exactly the same features: a one-time purchase, or a yearly auto-renewing subscription that starts with a free week.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in the App Store app, under your account.
- If a subscription lapses, the three Pro features stop working. Everything free keeps working, and your GitHub connection is kept so that resubscribing brings it straight back.
Payment and refunds
Apple takes the payment, not me. I never see your card details. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines and you think that is unfair, write to me and I will look at it.
Your files
Your documents are yours. ezMD reads and writes them on your Mac, and does not upload them anywhere. Keep your own backups — the app is not a backup service, and I cannot recover anything for you.
GitHub
Connecting GitHub is optional. When you do, you are also bound by GitHub's own terms. Saving a file writes a commit to your repository, so make sure you have the right to write to it.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. I work to keep it correct and stable, but I cannot promise it will be free of faults, or that it will suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost data, lost work, or other damage arising from using it.
Changes
These terms may change as the app changes. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan.

- 訂閱會自動續約，除非你在該期結束前至少 24 小時取消。取消的地方在 App Store 的帳號設定裡。
- 訂閱失效之後，那三樣 Pro 功能會停掉，免費的部分照常使用。你的 GitHub 連結會留著， 重新訂閱或購買就接得回來。
付款與退費
錢是 Apple 收的，不是我收的，我看不到你的卡片資料。退費由 Apple 處理： reportaproblem.apple.com。 如果 Apple 沒過而你覺得不合理，寫信給我，我會看。
你的檔案
你的檔案是你的。ezMD 在你的 Mac 上讀寫它們，不會上傳到任何地方。 請自己保留備份——這個 app 不是備份服務，我沒辦法幫你救回任何東西。
GitHub
連結 GitHub 是選用的。連了之後，你同時也受 GitHub 自己的條款約束。 存檔會在你的 repo 寫入一個 commit，所以請確認你對那個 repo 有寫入權限。
免責
這個 app 以現狀提供。我會盡力讓它正確、穩定，但沒辦法保證它完全沒有問題， 也沒辦法保證它適合每一種用途。在法律允許的範圍內，我不對使用本 app 造成的資料遺失、 工作損失或其他損害負責。
異動
app 會改，條款也可能跟著改。最新版本永遠放在這個網址，開頭有日期。 條款更新後你繼續使用，就表示你接受。
準據法
本條款以中華民國（台灣）法律為準據法。
