Email support@ezmd.app. Please say which version of macOS you are on, and what you were doing when the problem happened. A screenshot helps a lot.

I usually reply within two working days. I am in Taiwan, so allow for the time difference.

Common questions

Nothing shows up when I open the app

That is expected on the first run. ezMD is sandboxed, which means it cannot look at any folder until you pick one. Click the folder icon in the top left and choose a folder that has .md files in it.

My folder disappeared after I restarted

Choose it again with the folder button. If it keeps happening, tell me — the app is meant to remember it.

I paid, but Pro is still locked

Open Settings with ⌘, and click Restore Purchases. If that does not help, email me with the Apple receipt and I will sort it out.

The GitHub panel wants a token

ezMD uses a fine-grained personal access token, which you create on GitHub and paste in. The panel links straight to the right page with the settings pre-filled. Your token is kept in this Mac's Keychain and is sent nowhere except GitHub.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Use reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple turns you down and you think that is unfair, write to me.

How do I cancel my subscription?

App Store app → click your account → Settings → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you paid for runs out.

Which Macs are supported?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

打開 app 之後畫面是空的

第一次開就是這樣。ezMD 跑在沙盒裡，你沒指定資料夾之前，它看不到任何檔案。 按左上角的資料夾圖示，選一個放 .md 的資料夾就好。

重開之後資料夾不見了

用資料夾按鈕再選一次。如果一直這樣，跟我說一聲——它本來應該記得住的。

付過錢了，Pro 還是鎖著

按 ⌘, 打開設定，點「回復購買」。還是不行的話，把 Apple 的收據寄給我，我來處理。

GitHub 面板要我貼 token

ezMD 用的是 GitHub 的 fine-grained 存取權杖，你在 GitHub 上產生之後貼進來。 面板裡的連結會直接帶你到那一頁，該勾的都預先填好了。權杖只存在這台 Mac 的鑰匙圈裡， 除了 GitHub 不會送去別的地方。

可以退費嗎？

錢是經過 Apple 收的，退費也走 Apple： reportaproblem.apple.com。 如果 Apple 沒過而你覺得不合理，寫信給我。

訂閱怎麼取消？

打開 App Store → 點你的帳號 → 設定 → 訂閱項目。取消之後不會再續約， 但你付過錢的那一期還是可以用到底。

哪些 Mac 可以跑？

macOS 14 Sonoma 以上。
